At 110 years old, the W.F. Ramsey Unit has endured face after face, change after change. Seated south of Houston, it was originally known as the Ramsey Prison Farm. Since, it has become a hub for many other things, such as taking on truck distribution after the closure of the Central Unit. They also have established a long-standing relationship with the University of Houston - Clear Lake, where offenders have access to bachelors and masters degrees. #TBT | Texas Department of Criminal Justice
