How to Fix Your Christmas Cactus Troubles 🌱 Buds Falling Off: Lack of nutrients. Fertilize with a bloom booster every 10 days. Pinch off the smaller buds to focus energy on the bigger one. 💧 Rotting Roots: Overwatering is the culprit. Ensure well-draining soil and only water when the top inch of soil is dry. ☀️ No Blooms: Light issue. Move to a darker spot or cover with a black bag after 5 PM to trick it into blooming #plantcare #gardening #houseplants #gardentips #christmascactus | Garden Tip

🌿✨ If your Christmas cactus keeps dropping buds or refusing to bloom… bottom watering might be the game changer you didn’t know you needed. This simple method lets the plant drink exactly what it needs, without soaking the top, stressing the roots, or leaving the soil soggy. When you place the pot in a shallow dish of water, the roots pull moisture upward naturally, encouraging stronger growth, tighter buds, and more reliable blooms. It also helps prevent fungus gnats, keeps the soil evenly moi

Here’s how I leaf propagate my Christmas Cactus in soil. 🪨 Use a soil mix consisting of 70% coir and 30% perlite. 🌱Fill pot with soil, slightly compact the soil ✂️ Always disinfect your pruners ⏰ Allow the leaves to dry and callous over for a day 🪴 Open a hole with a dowel or pencil and place the leaf in the soil 💡Place under a grow light or on a windowsill MonstroFarm Tip 💦 Allow the layer of soil that the leaves are sitting in to dry out completely before watering again 😊Enjoy.
