In a stunning display of courage and instinct, a lone farm dog in rural South Africa went snout-to-snout with a lion attempting to breach a livestock enclosure — and the tense encounter was all caught on camera. The footage, timestamped October 29th, shows a lion approaching the fenced pen under cover of dusk, likely drawn by the scent of dozens of sheep huddled inside.
