LH hormone levels play a key role in ovulation, cycle timing, and hormone balance — yet most women are never taught how this hormone actually works. LH stands for luteinizing hormone and is released through a signaling process between the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and ovaries. Understanding how LH hormone levels function is foundational for hormone balance, PMS, PMDD, and cycle awareness. This is Part 1.
