Columbia Glacier, the second largest tide water glacier in North America is also one of the fastest moving glaciers in the world. I’ve been watching it, studying it and flying over it for 16 years and in that time it has receded about 8 miles. I’m guessing we have 2 to 3 more years before it recedes up off the ocean. It has lost almost 2000 feet of thickness in the last 100 years, and since 1982 when it began its retreating faze, it has retreated about 15 miles. Come see it before it’s gone. $35
