Commemorating 100 years since the founding of the Royal Observer Corps, a nationwide community of civilian volunteers who monitored Britain’s skies for signs of attack. Across 70 years, tens of thousands of people gave up their time to protect their fellow civilians. ‘Forewarned is Forearmed’ celebrates that dedication, talking to ex-Observers and their families to tell new stories of the Royal Observer Corps community and its people. 📅 A series of events will take place on 29, 30 & 31 October.
