Tyler Childers singing “Harlan Road” on Red Barn Radio back in 2013. This recording comes from Childers’ 2013 Red Barn Radio session, several years before his wider breakout. “Harlan Road” is one of the songs he was performing live during this period that he never released himself. The song was later recorded and released by the Lexington-based bluegrass group NewTown on their 2016 album Harlan Road, introducing the track through bluegrass circles rather than Childers’ own discography.
