The mummy was found in the Akhmim district of Sohag province. It is now preserved in the Egyptian Museum. It dates back to Roman times and the boy is painted in gold. He probably had a disease due to the size of his head. The amazing thing about this mummy is that even after mummification the innocence of the child is still displayed on it.
