That being said, If Ninja Gaiden 2 had the same style of interconnected level design, the same story pacing and either got rid or polished some of the obviously unfinished levels in the game (ahem.. I'm looking at you chapter 9) then the game would be even better than the original.

Most fans, myself included, absolutely hate Sigma II. It destroys everything that made the original version of Ninja Gaiden II enjoyable.

Unlike most games, the Ninja Gaiden series really changes the plan per game. Ninja Gaiden Black already exists, so they weren't content with just making the same one again. Dec 7, 2021 · Ninja Gaiden 04/black on Xbox is the better game and one of the best 3d action games ever made. But it did go under the radar quite a bit during its time. Also if you do play the NES games first you will catch a lot of references to Ninja Gaiden II (NES) in the 3d action games.

Jan 12, 2023 · Getting around to finally playing Ninja Gaiden 2 and wanted to play the original due to the changes made in sigma. I have downloaded the rom for the game and it loads up just fine in Xenia but when its gets to the first cutscence all of the models are bugged.
