Sep 27, 2024 · Just wanted to reach out to see if there are any real issues with the 6.4 hemi they are using in the Ram 2500s. There are some pretty good deals to be had on them (brand new), but Im hesitant because I have a 2021 Tundra 5.7 with 27k miles and no problems of any kind. This is my second 5.7 tundra and they are just bulletproof.

Nov 24, 2024 · 5.7 Hemi Way back when building 2nd gen Hemi's and many other dragstrip engines, we would boil them out for 24 hours. Then put the block and heads in a huge ultrasonic cleaner ( one made for big submarine battery spark arresstors and with heater built in) over night in hot soapy water.

Dec 14, 2024 · Hemi 5.7 It could have been dirt in the injectors to cause a misfire, put some Redline Sl-1 complete fuel system cleaner, put 15oz bottle in a near empty fuel tank and fill W 20 gallons of fuel see if that helps it should quiet down noisy injectors and clean injectors.

Dec 23, 2022 · 5.7 Hemi Was using PUP 5w20 and a brief run of 5w30, heard clatter and random slight ticking, nothing of major concern but more noise than my previous Hemi with the same combination. I'm currently on Redline 5w20 for winter.

Dec 20, 2024 · Lets say some one has an off road Hemi 6.4 and the EGR cooler becomes a problem and removal or delete seems like a better option. I haven't seen much discussion in this area. I would like to talk about the possibility of said delete and what could be expected.
