On Wednesday, officials with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 33-year-old Diego Valdez-Marroquin, a citizen of Guatemala, on a felony charge of aggravated drug trafficking.

The uptick in violence is hampering ICE operations designed to apprehend individuals who pose national security risks.
