Tesla has quietly unveiled its facelifted Model Y with new styling that will help it keep up with rivals like Kia and Volvo. Though currently only available in the Asia Pacific region, the refreshed "Juniper" model is likely to appear stateside in the coming months.

Tesla early Friday in China launched the refreshed Model Y vehicle with a slightly longer range and higher price than the old Model Y. The "Juniper" Model Y has a clearly different front and back, as opposed to the minor exterior changes to the updated Model S,
