The rare celestial event that only happens every 100 years and the best time to see Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in February 2025 will be at the very start of the month.

February brings a rare planetary parade, with five bright planets in clear view and a special alignment of Mercury and Saturn on Feb. 24.

A planetary alignment, or a "planet parade" according to the internet, will grace our night sky just after dusk, according to SkyatNightMagazine. We'll see six planets in the first part of February – Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus and Saturn – and on Feb. 28, they'll be joined by Mercury.

Starting at 12:30 p.m. ET (1730 GMT) on Saturday (Jan. 25), astrophysicist Gianluca Masi of the Virtual Telescope Project will stream live telescope views of all six of the planets in marching order.
