Twenty-five Aliquippa Junior High students and three adults were headed to a game in nearby Gibsonia when the crash occurred.

In total, 28 people were on the bus at the time of the crash. Of the passengers, 25 students were on the bus, and 21 of those students were taken to the hospital. As was the bus driver. Their conditions are unknown.
