The 2026 FIFA World Cup draw will be held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 5, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday.

President Donald Trump said Friday he would “rather not” join a potential meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, though he left the door open.

Despite Russia being banned from FIFA competitions, Trump said he thinks Putin will attend the 2026 World Cup.
