CINCINNATI -- If you thought the Brewers’ run couldn’t get any more magical, you hadn't seen anything yet.

The Brewers announced some details surrounding the Aug. 24 game against the Giants, when the team will pay tribute to late broadcaster Bob Uecker.

With several injured players, the Milwaukee Brewers are collecting wins in their quest to honor their great legendary broadcaster, Bob Uecker.

Brewers coaches and front office officials have spent hours in meetings and Zoom sessions over recent days discussing how to get through this particularly burdensome stretch of the schedule without blowing out the pitching on the cusp of a pennant push.

In addition to a special on-field program, the day will include memorabilia displays and limited-edition items available throughout the stadium.

The Milwaukee Brewers’ season already had a storybook feel, but Friday night in Cincinnati pushed it to another level. Trailing 8-1 after two innings, Milwaukee stormed back to defeat the Reds 10-8, stretching its winning streak to 13 games to match a franchise record.
