Donkey Kong - Nintendo's mighty monkey with a penchant for bananas - received a bit of a makeover recently, and now we know why.

Authorities in Texas said a donkey was rescued from a lake, but managed to escape from animal control officers and make its way to a highway.

This baby donkey was born on April 9th and hasn't stopped having the zoomies since she got her legs under her. She barely stops to eat!
