The search for missing 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro continues, with inconsistencies in his mother's story and community appeals for help.

The Los Angeles Times reported this week that Emmanuel’s father, Jack Haro, was convicted in June 2023 of willful child cruelty for an incident involving another child. He is due in court in September for that case, the outlet said.

Authorities have searched the family home multiple times in connection to the boy's disappearance last week in Yucaipa.

Detectives with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department said they've found "inconsistencies" in the mother's story and that she has since stopped talking to them.
