Just in time for the Taste of Buffalo, heat and humidity levels will again be on the rise through the first half of the weekend, National Weather Service forecasters say.

A judge overseeing the lawsuit filed by five parishes against the Buffalo Catholic Diocese over abuse settlement payments has issued an order preventing payment until a hearing next month.
