The clash was between supporters of Phillip Ndamira Tumukunde and incumbent Member of Parliament Enock Nyongore at Kinyogogga trading center in Nakaseke district.

According to the UPC’s official roadmap, the elections were meant to roll out across the Acholi sub-region on Monday, starting at the village level following the initial phase in the Lango sub-region.
