A young rider was seriously injured in an ATV crash Monday afternoon in Newport, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game.

In Tell City the community is grieving the loss of nine-year-old Xavier Dawson.. Deputies say he was on the vehicle with an adult male who was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
