The Reds have already snapped-up Hugo Ekitike, for whom Newcastle made Eintracht Frankfurt an unsuccessful £70million offer before ending their pursuit of the Frenchman. However, they reportedly are interested in several other strikers as they continue trying to strengthen their squad after qualifying for the Champions League.

The 24-year-old Senegal international has been at Stamford Bridge since June 2023, with the Blues paying a £32m fee to sign him from Villarreal. It’s believed that Chelsea want around £50m in order to let Jackson leave the west London club, with the player under contract until 2033.
