The West Haven Police Department was executing a search warrant on Grand Avenue in New Haven when two officers were shot, police said.

Stamford police say Michael Lee was arrested on a warrant pertaining to domestic violence and narcotics charges, and found to have drugs and a revolver on him.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Two Connecticut police officers were shot and wounded Wednesday morning while trying to execute a search warrant in New Haven, where a person described by authorities as a suspect was also injured.
