Seven Tesla superchargers were damaged by a fire in Massachusetts that investigators say was intentionally set, as they look for a suspect.
Authorities in Littleton, Massachusetts, have launched an investigation into fires at a Tesla charging station that they deem "suspicious."
McCurdy said that members of the Massachusetts State Fire Marshal's office and the Littleton Police Department are investigating this incident as a suspicious fire and believe it was intentionally set.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw seven chargers with heavy fire damage. After the Littleton Electric Light & Water Department cut power to the devices, they quickly extinguished the fire and notified the State Police Fire Investigation Unit assigned to the State Fire Marshal’s office.
