For now, at least, Sanders stands alone as the only elected official willing — or perhaps able — to mount a national campaign to harness the fear and anger of the sprawling anti-Trump movement.

Sanders uses “left” rhetoric and demagogy to channel growing popular anger against Trump’s fascist policies back behind the Democratic Party, while covering for the Democrats’ role in facilitating the attacks and attempting to whip up support for economic nationalism and imperialist war.
There has been no centralized movement to organize the anti-Trump resistance. Beyond Sanders’ tour, angry voters have so far relied on grassroots groups like Indivisible to organize a series of local protests.
