AUSTIN, Texas - The City of Austin’s temporary emergency homeless shelter at the Marshalling Yard plans to extend its operations, after homeless services there were set to stop next year.

Austin City Council is expected to vote on a one-year contract with Family Endeavors to run homeless shelter operations at the Marshalling Yard, near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
