Knife amnesty bins have been installed in York as part of a county wide crime crackdown. The bins are in place in the Morrisons car park, in Front Street, Acomb, and Kingsway North, in Clifton.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich installed the bin last week to help tackle knife crime in the area. The bin is the third of its kind in the borough, with the other two located in Abbey Wood and Eltham.
