No. 23 Iowa football to face No. 14 Vanderbilt in bowl game

No. 23 Iowa football (8-4, 6-3 Big Ten) will head to Tampa, Florida for the ReliaQuest Bowl at Raymond James Stadium against No. 14 Vanderbilt (10-2, 6-2 SEC) on New Year’s Eve, per On3’s Brett McMurphy. It’s the first time since 2019 the Hawkeyes will play in at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT on ESPN.

Tennessee football final bowl game projection, opponent

Tennessee leads the all-time football series against Miami, 2-1, dating to Jan. 1, 1986. The Vols won the 1986 Sugar Bowl, 35-7, against Miami in the first contest. The Hurricanes won at Neyland Stadium, 26-3, on Nov. 9, 2002. Tennessee was also victorious, 10-6, at Miami on Nov. 8, 2003.

Iowa State football will not play in a bowl game

Iowa State University has notified the Big 12 Conference that the Cyclone football team will not be participating in a bowl game, school officials announced today.
