The Washington Commanders have made a decision on a possible name change following a suggestion by President Donald J. Trump. President Trump made it clear this week that he wasn't a fan of the Washington NFL franchise going away from the Redskins.

The Washington Commanders decided to do away with the Redskins nickname. Big-name retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and Target, as well as Nike and Dick’s Sporting Goods, all removed Redskins merchandise from their websites the previous week,
