The Air India flight fell from the sky on Thursday and killed at least 270 people in Gujarat state, officials said Saturday.

Authorities have confirmed that 144 DNA samples have been successfully matched as of noon Tuesday, according to Gujarat Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi.

Captain Sumeet Sabharwal's body arrived in Mumbai. He was a pilot on the Air India flight that crashed in Ahmedabad. Families are receiving remains of crash victims after DNA matching. A memorial service occurred in London.
