Prince William is breaking with tradition for his new 'forever' home, moving his family into a low-key lodge without any palace luxuries.

Since 2022, the Wales family has been living at Adelaide Cottage, which is a modest four-bedroom property, also located in Windsor. They moved there in 2022, a few months before Queen Elizabeth’s death to be closer to where she had been spending most of her time.

Adelaide Cottage, the current home of Prince William and Princess Kate and their children, is said to represent some “unhappy memories” for the family. The revelation comes as the Waleses are preparing to move to their “forever home” with Prince George,

Kate has made it very clear that family comes first, and giving Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, as normal a life as possible is her priority.
