Friday night’s hilarious Big Slick Celebrity softball game made these stars lock in as Superman and more stepped up to bat.

The Red Devils (18-6) won their sixth game in a row and advanced to the sectional semifinals for the first time since 2017. They will face the winner of Monday’s game between second-seeded Vineland and seventh-seeded Egg Harbor.

Millington 4, Essexville Garber 1: Millington sisters Logan and Morgan Matusik each hit solo homers in the fifth inning to power the 24-9 Cardinals to the non-conference win. Lilly Damm added two runs and two hits. Morgan Matusik earned the win, striking out two in six innings.

Ole Miss is seeking its first appearance in the Women’s College World Series. It won Game 1, 9-7, on May 23 for its first ever win in a super regional. Game 3 is scheduled for 4 p.m. on May 25 (ESPN2). An error by second baseman Mackenzie Pickens with two outs allowed two Arkansas runners to score.
