CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — James Island head coach Jamar McKoy has been named the Live 5 Friday Night Lights Coach of the Year for 2025. McKoy helped lead the Trojans to a 12-2 record this season including a trip to the 5A-1 Lower State Championship game. The first time James Island has reached the Lower State title game in more than 40 years.
