Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles is inching closer and closer. The two sides will meet in the Super Bowl on Sunday for the second time in three seasons. It's the second-shortest span between a Super Bowl rematch since the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills played in the 1992 and 1993 seasons.

No matter who wins this year’s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, Western New York will have ties to a Super Bowl champion. There are a few WNY and Buffalo Bills connections to the two teams playing for the Lombardi Trophy on Feb.

As Super Bowl week kicks off, the Bills are back in a familiar spot, trying to figuring out ways to get past the Chiefs.
