The memorial program interspersed testimonials with a four-part video that recounted Uecker's life, career and his connection to Milwaukee.

The Brewers honored Uecker with a celebration of life tribute prior to the Brewers-Giants game Aug. 24. The ceremony was hosted by fellow Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Costas, who worked with Uecker on national NBC telecasts.

Bob Uecker’s Hall of Fame broadcasting career began only after the Milwaukee Brewers initially hired him as a scout.
