Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez will begin a rehabilitation assignment at Double-A Corpus Christi on Tuesday, moving him closer to a return after sitting out for more than three months.

Houston Astros General Manager Dana Brown indicated that slugger Yordan Alvarez had been assigned to the team’s Double affiliate Corpus Christi Hooks to begin a rehab assignment.
