While other fronts have quieted with the ceasefire signed between Israel and the Lebanese Hezbollah movement in November and the fall of the Iran-aligned Syrian government the following month, Ansar Allah has defied strikes conducted by Israel, the United Kingdom and the United States to maintain operations until a ceasefire was reached in Gaza.

Israeli warplanes bombed a power station and two ports in Houthi-controlled Yemen on Friday in further retaliation for Houthi drone and missile strikes against Israel, and pro-Houthi media said at least three people were injured.

SANAA - Yemen's Houthi group said in a statement on Friday that it has launched a missile attack on the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier in the northern Red Sea and has fired three bomb-laden drones at the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.
