“Hard Knocks” has promised Bills Mafia and NFL fans an unprecedented look behind the curtain of the inner workings within Buffalo’s summer home at St. John Fisher University. To this point, it’s proven to be a success — no doubt helped by the presence of Allen.

The “Hard Knocks” series returns Tuesday, August 5 with “Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills,” dropping 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max.

After more than 20 years, “Hard Knocks” premieres with season 25, as the sports documentary series follows the Buffalo Bills in the lead up to the 2025-26 NFL season. This is the first time the Bills were selected as the subject for a “Hard Knocks” season.
