The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has confirmed that a deportation flight carrying migrants from various countries has landed in Eswatini,

Eswatini says it will repatriate five migrants deported by the US, rejecting claims that their home countries refused to accept them.

"The third countries that have received or been about to receive third-country deportees so far—El Salvador, Libya, South Sudan, now Eswatini—are marked by serious pre-existing human rights violations. This is a recipe for prolonged arbitrary detention or worse."
