The Men's College World Series is my favorite baseball event, and I've attended 31 of them and watched upwards of 300 games in Omaha. I haven't been to Charles Schwab Field since 2019, which is a travesty.

Arkansas opened a 7-1 lead with a five-run fourth inning. Logan Maxwell hit a grand slam off AJ Russell, the Vols' third pitcher of the inning. The Razorbacks loaded the bases on singles by Cam Kozeal and Reese Robinett, followed by an intentional walk to Charles Davalan to set up a force play.

The College World Series will start on June 13 at 1 p.m. at Charles Schwab Field with the best-of-three finals set for June 21 to 23.

LSU is by far the most accomplished baseball program at the College World Series. The opener vs Arkansas looms very large in the 2025 event

Former Homestead High School standout Will Vierling probably didn't have the College World Series blocked off on his June calendar when he transferred from Louisville to Murray State after the 2024 season.

Duke is once again stopped just short of the College World Series as underdog Murray State defeated the Blue Devils, 5-4, on Monday night in the Durham Super Regional.
