The stage is about 1.5 metres (5ft) above the ground - adults were able to lean against the stage with their elbows resting on it. On our visit the yard was half full and people were able to move around, The cast came down into the yard and interacted with the audience. You could take children out for a few minutes and return during the performance. There were children there on our visit, probably age 10 upwards. However, if the yard were more crowded I would not have thought it would be comfortable for young children.
Q:
Do you have any luggage storage facilities?
A:
I am not sure but because the site has quite a strict bag size policy I think they have no luggage storage facilities. Please check on the Globe website to be sure
Q:
Is it also possible to visit the Theatre individually or shall we book a guided tour?
A:
Absolutely, get tickets to a production. It’s separate from the guided tour.
