It’s a steep climb of 400+ steps but worth it for the view (some of the tours access by road). Cafe at the top but wasn’t open when I went at around 9amFull review by theoriginalchrz

The four of us, in our 60s, managed to climb the over 400 steps. There are many benches on the way up so you can take it at your own pass. Go in the morning because it gets busier as the day goes on.…Full review by Robert_and_Deb
Hello! My boyfriend and I will arrive in Alesund this Thursday, and we are looking for the greatest boat tour at this weekend. Preferably, one that lasts the whole day and, also, visits the most beautiful and important sights and places in Alesund. We'd like it to be a little more private (up to 10-15 people groups), but I don't know if you have options that include a long boat ride (a must), and also a tour on land...we would even be willing to make one on Saturday and rhe orher one on Sunday...idk. just wanted to ask if this would be a possibility, and we could create something. Could you please let me know? Thanks for your attention!

There are kayaking tours through the center of town.
How far away are the steps from the port. Are they walking distance or would it be easier to catch a bus. Thankyou

Hi, we will be traveling to Alesund in 10 days time and want to take to walk through the forest to Aksla. Would you remember how long the walk took? Thank you!

Of course, depends how fast you walk. And remember it is uphill. I would allot an hour.
