Yes, there are launch areas on both sides of the key.

How far is the walk from parking to beach?

The walk from parking to the beach is less than 100 yards if you are parking in the lot off midnight pass rd by the beach.

Can you bring your own coolers

Coolers are allowed on all Sarasota County Beach's. No glass is allowed, and if your drinking alcohol you should keep it to a low profile and make sure all are over 21 years.
