We enjoyed the science centre. It is more designed for kids, but as a Dad, I loved it. You could spend many hours here, unfortunately we didnt realise that it closed at 5pm, having turned up at 3;30p…Full review by Elthamboy

Hi Piper, yes it is a lot like Questacon. We went there earlier in the year for the first time and were amazed at how big the centre is. It has something for all ages, our biys (3 and 1 at the time) loved it. Take a towel and swimmers as there is an amazing outdoor water park. Also be prepared as it gets very busy with school groups. Well worth a visit, and the train ride out is always a hit for kids :) Short walk from the Jurong East station. Have fun and if you are a member of any of the ASTC (Australian Science Centres) ie Questacon you wil get reciprocal free admission Our boys also loved Gardens by the Bay and Fort Canning Have a great time in Singapore

Hi! First the Science Centre Ben is closed on 9,16,23 and 30 July 2018. Second the online ticket purchase is only available for peak periods Iike weekends, school and public holidays. Any other days you get your tickets on site. 18th is a normal school day for Singapore and the last 2 times I went, there is no queue at the counter (although there were many schools on excursion but they get their tickets separately). So it will be open but go early before the bus loads of students come. Actually Jurong has many fun things to do, the science Centre is next to Chinese and Japanese garden. I think one of them houses the Turtle museum (they are huge and alive). Across the road from Science Centre is a central hub with many eateries, a big public library, malls. From the MRT station you can hitch a ride to IMM which has a huge Daiso ($2 shop that sells Knick knacks from Japan) and a large playground and water play on the roof top etc. So a trip West can be a full day excursion really. Have fun!
Is it worth visiting if you are an adult and traveling alone?

It depends on whether you are insterested in all things Science. Traveling alone will be fine as you can view the exhibit at your own pace. Do check the schedules for Tesla Coils Show as well as Fire Tornado, I wouldn’t miss those if I were you.
