There is a shuttle service that runs twice daily in the summer time, so it depends on when you're travelling. It is a 30 minute journey on the open road. You could also check with the …

There is a shuttle service that runs twice daily in the summer time, so it depends on when you're travelling. It is a 30 minute journey on the open road. You could also check with the Fiordland i-SITE at Te Anau for other options. Or have some fun with it and go by seaplane - there's one that operates out of Te Anau right on the lake front.

Use the time saved to go on a heli tour to get another angle at the fjords as well as visiting the glowing worms cave, a unique experience!
