Do yourself a favor, book a tour when you visit the place. Makes all the difference in the world. It is nice just to visit the place, but with the tour it is a fantastic experience.Full review by Alex Z

I was reading your Switzerland reviews. Were you on a group tour? The hotels seem to be same or similar to Insight Vacations/Tours. Switzerland is expensive. But I noticed that Trafalgar and Globus use some internationally recognized hotels and even those didnt get great reviews. For us cis also important. We travel quite a bit and don't mind buffet breakfast, but are pretty fed up with buffet anything else. We are in the planning stages. Many Thanks for your input, Marian

Yes. If you are on a train from Geneva or Lausanne change to a local train at Montreux. If you are travelling from Sion you can take a local train to Le Bouveret on Lac Leman and take a CGN boat. Or take a train to Montreux and change on to the local line. You can take a CGN ferry from many places on the shores of Lac Leman. You can walk along the lakeside from Villeneuve (also a ferry stop), it’s not far, and there is probably a bus. Parking at the Chateau is limited,
